Yeah but they will keep the assholes down south complacent. Places like NC, OH, MI, WI, IA, TX, FL have to be attacked from the ground up: take control of the state legislature and governorship and gerrymander it in favor of democrats.

A little hard to do it when racist fucks are flooding the polls because "god dang Kenyans running to the white house".

I'd love to see President Kamala Harris but I'm not sure how well she works for the big picture, especially for a redistricting year we need someone that can win and someone that won't make hillbillies in the south go up in arms, and in 2020 those minor seats in state legislatures will be way more important than the presidency, you draw a favorable map and democrats are holding the house for the entire decade and probably longer since republicans are a minority now and would need a several point swing to take the house, and to take the state legislatures.

We need something like what republicans did with Redmap in 2010, target seats that can be taken in 2020 and redraw against republicans.

It's about entertainment. Colbert is pretty good at it, he'll bring in the jokes and ideas. Sanders will pitch in experience. Set a clown to catch a clown.

I’m pretty sure Joe Biden can get the job done in 2020 if he runs

Obama brought the blue wave though. It’s all about increasing turn out with millenials AA and Latinos. We don’t need white voters.

I agree with you 99 percent of the time but have to disagree here. We have Trump because dems lost white voters in Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania. Minority votes are not enough to win an election.

They might come around after they see how disastrous republicans and their policies are. Then again, they vote against their own interests time and time again. Only time will tell, but the demographics of this country are changing so fast. 2020 will be a completely different electorate.

The @HouseGOP just defeated our 14th attempt to take up the #DREAMact since #DACA’s termination. Until they allow a vote, their support for #DREAMers is just lip service.
