The gop is a mess. Even if they find the votes to fund the govt for two weeks to get tax reform done what are they going to do after that. The freedom caucus is demanding so much shit in a long term funding deal.

I hope I am wrong, but the worst case scenario is that the impasse continues and a deal is reach the day of the "deadline" to prevent a shutdown. But, again, I hope a deal is reach today.
