For CR resolution Freedom Caucus will probably cave but for long term spending bill it won't happen. Can't remember where but yesterday I read that since 2011 when GOP took control they've always needed at least 57 Dems in the House and 20 senators in the senate to fund the government.

Why are people even acting like anyone will remember this farce in 2018? Republicans shut down the fucking government in 2013 and had a landslide in 2014. What is more important is that Donald Trump remains unpopular.

Yes there are 240 GOP members, but you are forgetting about the 30 members of the freedom caucus who normally don’t agree with the establishment Republicans on spending bills or other bills for that matter. You subtract 30 out of 240 and that leaves you at 210. Nancy Pelosi has a track record of keeping her team on the same page, no way will they get enough Dems in the House to caucus with the GOP without Nancy’s approval.

A Democrat will vacate his seat. Nothing to worry about.

The CR might pass since some red state republicans and California’s old hag witch Feinstein doesn’t want a shutdown either. The true battle is in the two weeks ahead and what happens after the CR.

Update: Congressional negotiators are making good headway on a budget deal that would meet our commitments to our military & urgent priorities here at home. I hope this progress continues but it's in stark contrast to @POTUS who again said yesterday: "a shutdown could happen.

Could this be good news?

Real question would be, are urgent priorities here at home, DACA?

If this CR passes without DA, we have lost this battle and will have to wait until the 22nd to see if we have lost this war.
