this is old in terms of information. All of it was posted in the articles from today. Only democractic leaders speaking, at first thought it was a joint presser about some bill that was live

Schumer - "We need to pass the bipartisan deal to pair DREAM Act with border security."

- Also calls for lifting spending caps in the defense and non-defense spending (equal $ increase for defense and non-defense), CHIP funding.

"A small group which seems to have a disproportionate say in the House is trying to derail (lifting the spending cap)."

Calls Freedom Caucus's strategy "a ruse" (Of passing the defense budget first before passing the non-defense budget). 44 Senate Democrats are sending Republican leaders sending opposition to the Freedom Caucus's strategy.

"Ryan will be heading into Republican government shutdown (if he bows down to the Freedom Caucus's demand)."

So, in a nutshell, Schumer is saying a shutdown is possible if the Freedom Caucus decides to kick the spending bill past Dec. 22 over funding level. Nothing on DACA/DREAM Act though.

ALSO: @samstein
Am told that Senate Dems are not budging on border wall funding in the final DACA deal, even if they are granting more "border security" funding

He basically said that he won't negotiate in public and there is strong bipartisan support for a DACA fix before year end

We'll see, they have to move fast though
