Knowing the GOP. Paul Ryan will probably say is the right thing to bring the Dream Act relief bill up for a vote.

(That’s after he retires of course because they only want to do “the right thing” once they already leave office)

Jeff Flake crafted the best relief bill for us though and he's retiring.

He would deport us all for a new suit if he could.

Jeff Flake is not a majority leader or the House Speaker. The pressure comparisons between Ryan and Flake are not nearly the same. Ryan is leading a party. Flake is leading himself now.

This.

I'm not sure how people can even entertain the idea that Ryan will ever bring up the DA just because he might retire. First, he doesn't care about us. Second, he is a pussy, so he will not go against the Repubes' anti-immigration and hate agenda. Everybody should know by now that hating and standing against (i)llegals is a strong means of getting voters for Repubes.

Ryan denies retirement reports

Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) says he’s not quitting Congress anytime soon.

Asked at the end of his weekly press conference whether he was leaving Congress “soon,” Ryan chuckled and replied as he walked off the stage: “I’m not, no.”

Was anyone really expecting him to admit he was going to retire? I mean c’mon.

I know right. What kind of stupid question is that. A better question would be: "how would you imagine the house when you are no longer the speaker?"
