It's not really fine in my opinion. While this is the last CR they can pass the debt ceiling has to be raised in January with the spending bill. That gives Dems less leverage

Wouldn’t that give them more? Since freedom caucus does not want to raise the debt ceiling

It takes away practically all their leverage. It's one thing to mess with a government shutdown, but not even the most progressive of Democrats would not raise the debt ceiling over DACA.

Not raising the debt ceiling can cause so much economic harm and chaos.
