What are the Dems going to then if the GOP changes its mind and doesn't want a vote then?
That's tough talk when you only have to worry about a single issue. Democrats have more in their base than 800k DACA holders who can't even vote for them.

If IL didn't have an R governor I'd consider calling for his resignation.

Well if they aren't willing to fight for us, why pretend like they care? Watch, if DA doesn't pass, Democrats will be quick to use us as sob stories in their campaings, but right now they have other stuff to worry about?

A lot of people on here act like a sports fan who thinks their team can trade for Lebron when they have a team of scrubs on their team. "Our general manager is a moron! All you gotta do is trade Scalabrine and Moochie for Lebron and we'll be a championship team next year!"

I've got news for you guys: REPUBLICANS HAVE BOTH HOUSES OF CONGRESS AND THE WHITE HOUSE. Do you really not understand how politics work or do you just like bitching about things that you have no control over? Elections have consequences.

This is what you get when progressives fight within themselves and say "Bernie or Bust" or they give a protest vote to Jill Stein. Nothing meaningful is going to happen until Democrats take back congress and even then it may take till after 2020 to actually have a robust immigration bill.

It will be dumb for the Democrats to try to shut down the government over a "bunch of illegals" and they will lose many independent votes if they do. That's just the reality.

How the hell are they going to fight for us if they don't have the power to do so? They have to win first before they can do anything.

Forgive us for holding them liable on the promises that THEY made. Silly us for trying to hold politicians liable for their inactions. What were we thinking.
