Hopefully we get this border enforcement + DACA bill soon. Here in NY all my Trump-voting friends and acquaintances have come around HARD on Trump. NY got raped with this tax bill, especially homeowners. Even Trump voters are hoping he gets canned. Maybe the bill helps him out a little.

it's this kind of shit that made everyone hate them.
worry about the people already fucking here.
what are the consequences exactly by ending diversity lottey? less potential dem votes?
and what are the costs of cutting legal immigration?
less dem votes?
shameful shit, and i wish all of you would see this for what it really is.

Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.) signaled anew Wednesday that Democrats would not agree to anything beyond a bare-bones stopgap as long as there was no bipartisan agreement on spending, immigration and other sensitive issues.

That spelled a likely end to any attempt by McConnell to add the health-care legislation at Collins's behest because some Democrats would have to support the move for it to overcome a 60-vote Senate procedural hurdle.

"We cannot do a short-term funding bill that picks and chooses what problems to solve," Schumer said. "That will not be fair and will not pass. We have to do them all together, instead of in a piecemeal fashion."

Durbin is sincere but is not true that they negotiated for the last three months.
