It needs to be attached to the spending bill. I do not see a standalone bill passing BOTH the Senate and the House. It did not happen back in 2010 and it will definitely not happen in 2018!

I have somewhat mixed feelings about giving him the "wall." I think the best solution is to end the diversity lottery, add more patrols along the border and change the chain immigration rule so that a USC can only sponsor their spouses and children. And in return we should get the DREAM ACT, no age cap. All of this should be attached to the spending bill.

Build his stupid wall, wether imaginary, or real, or made out of his neon orange dead skin flakes, just give it to him. He'll be dead before it's even completed anyway.
Thing is he doesn't just want a wall, did you just read his new requirement's sent to Durbin? He just resent the same document from October. What I'm saying is give him a couple billion for border security, diversity lottery and send it in to his desk through a must pass spending bill and I guarantee you he will sign it.

All of these and more would do a far better job of improving the everyday lives of American families than your ineffective & immoral wall. No thanks. #NoWall

You'd rather change the entire imigration system in this country by limiting family migration than give him 'the wall'? If it comes down between the two, the wall will be less impactful on the immigrant community.

100% agreed. There's people in this group delusional enough to believe any legislation that isn't bridge act with every white nationalist's immigration fantasies will pass both chamber's of Congress and get a signature from Trump.

There's exactly two weeks left for this shit to be solved. These assholes better come up with a solution that is attached to the budget or we are fucked.

I think that would be fair if it is a "clean Dream Act", that is 1) No Diversity Lottery 2) USC can only sponsor his or her spouse and children 3) Beef up the security along the border. The wall is really pointless if you think about it. And this way they can turn around and say that the daca kids cannot sponsor their parents. I do not know.
