So it's a NO on the wall according to Pelosi. What does she propose? E-verify, ending chain migration, interior enforcement?

This is what Dem's will give:
End chain migration for recipients until they are citizens.
End DV visa, use the allotment towards TPS.
Border security funding including more border patrol, funding for drones, towers etc.

That's it, take it or #ShutItDown.

TPS is not merit based. They should move those green cards to H1Bs.

Chain migration for US citizens will not change in this bill. No one will vote for it. You can only address it for DACA GC holders. (limited to the relief recipients)

Even then they could only limit it by making us go through a long conditional residency period. Once we become LPRs they can’t stop us from petitioning our eligible family members. Same for once we become citizens. Unless of course they create a new class of residency for us that wouldn’t lead to citizenship.

Their goal is to eliminate chain for everyone, which is never going to happen. They also can't create a second class of citizen; it will be rejected by the Constitution, unless they pass an amendment, which will fail 100% .
