lol.
where you asleep all yesterday or what???
the main cause of this was trump getting pissed off because they're not giving him enough funds for the wall, and are trying to lump in TPS.

Who do you think is right there in his ear telling him that he needs more money and to not accept anyone else but DACA recipients? Trump is an idiot, he can't think for himself. You heard him at the DACA meeting, he was willing to accept anything. He even agreed to a clean DACA.

Yeah, first it was President Bannon, now it's President Miller.

And like a child he listens to whoever is whispering in his ear.

I've given up on John Kelly a long time ago.

now you're just being obtuse.
we are not in a position where we can argue for anyone but this group of people.
this administration is at a crossroads, and this whole situation can go very badly, very quickly. understand that.
if miller wanted to, he could kill any solution for us, but he understands that in a democracy, concessions have to be made on both sides.
he understands the repercussions of legalizing us, you have to have border security so this doesn't happen ever again.

i haven't read all of his demands, but the only one i really disagree with is criminalizing illegal immigrants even more, a la the 1996 bill.

Republicans haven't made any concessions. They want exactly what they asked for, there is no room to negotiate.

Not the bill that Republicans are backing right now, that's permanent DACA like status. I want concessions that Dems can accept. Republicans just have said take it or leave it on their 4 categories.

Goodlatte bill, which is the most recent "Republican" bill released has the wall, e-verify, end to chain migration, end to dv lottery and 3 year work permit
