Kinda hard not to be discouraged after watching Durbin speak.

Too much sensational emotions, drama, and overreactions here. Is it so fucking difficult to stay objective and focused on the finish line? Look alive, people! Dreamers are not pussies.

Can someone please clarify once and for all:

1. How many proposals were sent over to Trump/WH this week and rejected? 1 or 2?

2. There is another proposal in the works that is being reviewed and planned to be submitted to Trump/WH next week, correct?

3. Just because Trump dropped the shithole comment and word got out, doesn't necessarily mean a Dreamer relief agreement can't still be worked on, correct? Did Big D Durbin suggest things are at a standstill or won't move forward due to Trump dropping the comment?

1. the only viable deal in town was rejected yesterday.
2. durbin/graham are working to re-write it
3. they said they continue to work to find a workable deal that satisfies everyone ahead of the Jan 19th deadline.

Alright. Fair enough. Seems like we are on standby for news next week.

I hate that I’m looking at the negative, but Durbin said on TV that “the deal is dead” for 3.

This was the perfect deal. No other deal will satisfy both sides.

Trump is a fucking idiot listening to those white supremists Cotton, Perdue and Miller.

Senator Dick Durbin
Senator Dick Durbin
@SenatorDurbin
I'm not going to quit my singular mission to pass the #DreamAct. Our deal is a genuine compromise—it addresses all the areas outlined by the President and represents honest concessions on both sides. That is the nature of compromise

If Durbin is fighting, why are you assholes quitting?

Btw, he posted this 3 hours ago. Work is being done!
