How do they "have the votes to stop a CR?" This title is misleading. It's the Republicans job to get the votes not the Democrats to stop it lol. It makes me think that this article was made to frame the Dem's as obstructionist.

House now debating temporary spending bill to avoid government shutdown at 11:59:59 pm et Friday. We expect a final vote to hit between 7 and 8 pm et tonight.

Guys, pray! We cannot let this through. Another week is a torture. I mean sure if passes next week fine, but we cannot keep changing stand! Every time we do this we are back on the “shutdown” headline and try to convince people to vote no. Every single time. Are they not tired of lobbying on the Hill every day about this???

The only positive is that as the CR's keep piling up, more people are voting NO.

Agreed. An article I read earlier mentioned how the number of NO votes increase with each one. Eventually they're not going to be able to pull it off anymore... that time is soon.
