Anyone residinng prior to 1972 is eligible for permanent residency (if still undocumented).

The U.S. has moved the registry multiple times to grant permanent rrsidency to various groups in the last 100 years.

Colleague Mike Emanuel rpts Senate source says Dems are deciding if they want to offer GOPers "some face-saving deal like a 3 week CR (continuing resolution) instead of 4” week.

It's only face saving if it's guaranteed, as in, signed on the dotted line that relief will pass

Well honestly we should be thankful to dems for holding it this far. Better than straight out giving up. Pretty sure Reps had some stressful moments today. Who wouldve thought daca could cause a shutdown and lets not forget, to majority americans, we are just undocumented people after all and they would care less....

I'm telling you, I have a feeling if a CR is passed, then the Democrats are probably going to be even more terrified of another imminent government shutdown down the road and will just cave.

Repubs will huddle and use the CR time to strategize and give the Dems everything they want besides DACA and stick them between a rock and a hard place.
