It still an uphill battle on the DREAM Act this year. There's hope of course.
Dont you think this is the closest we would get to passing any legislation in the next 3 yrs may b?

Right now there's an incredible momentum, the type that the DREAM Act will never have again. But it also has the most fervent opposition from a radical GOP base. The economy/market are strong and this base just received a 'tax cut.' The base will stand firmly behind Trump and his Republican controlled Congress. Incredible momentum vs fervent opposition.

In a few years, there might be only a minimal momentum for the DREAM Act, but at least there would be a weak opposition with a Democratic controlled WH/Senate/House. Minimal momentum vs. weak opposition.

There's no certain outcome at either time.

Guys make sure you stay active n blame this on Trump too much GOP saying they holding army hostage cuz of illegals.

I believe this is our last stand. Should this government shutdown b in place for a month we should be rdy to March.

I think that the closer they drag this to the SOTU, the closer we’ll get to a Dreamer bill passing.
