It’s not fucking too much. The plan was Dreamers in phase 1 and everything else in phase 2. Listen I get that maybe border security and a visa entry/exit system are needed to prevent “this shit from happening again.” Republicans keep saying they don’t want to be here again in Ten years doing this again. The issue is, I am worried that our cause is on a timer right now...how long are the Dems willing to hold the line for us?...because this doesn't look like it's going anywhere...

Repubs may most likely hurt the most from this shutdown, but they seem to be more stubborn than Dems.

Your post sums up my total thoughts, the current bill should just focus on daca,, ending chain immigration, tps and dv lottery should be left for a complete immigration reform. The republicans are asking for too much but are offering very little in return. Some people are saying give the republicans whatever they want so that a deal can be passed but they also have to show some compromise.
