Devil is in the details guys..... I am cautiously optimistic. Internal enforcement will torpedo this proposal quicker than anything you can imagine. I sense they will try to use dreamers as leverage to come after the other undocumented population. DEMs will say a quick no if that gets mentioned and I'm still not sure how I feel about completely ending family re-unification. How about including it someway as canada does when applying to PR there. I guess we'll have to wait and see. Lastly not sure how Durbin will feel about leaving out the dreamers that got him started on this journey.

If i-130 is pending and gets approved. could they still file for i-485(adjustment of status) once I-130 clears backlog after this bill passes?

Yep. I don’t know in what world these delusional people are living in.

Let’s get one thing straight that doesn’t require a debate: legalization is coming and it will NOT (!!!!!) benefit everyone. If anyone has an issue with that, don’t apply, pack it up, and be united with whoever they want elsewhere.

I agree somethings gotta give. A couple nights ago Dreamers in here were crying that they would take anything. Now that the White House is open again for negotiations Dreamers want to get picky again?

If dreamers don't like this bill then we might as well start pushing for CIR. Because we are not going to get a better deal than this. Personally I think is fair for both sides. Specially if we are getting citizenship out of this. 10-12 years. Subtract your 5 years already in DACA that leaves u with 7 years remaining.

You're delusional if you think this will gain any traction as a take it or leave it offer.

Absolutely. Of all the people one would think dreamers would be unified in accepting this
