If you bothered to ever read up how our immigration system works. You don't get citizenship if not by having s green card for a number of years. In our case if the sources are real would be 10-12. And even then it would be a conditional one.

Sorry, im not quite following... so if the citizenship is in 10, gc comes well before that, is that right?

Yes, green cards will come first. The specifics aren't outlined though.
