Look into Canada if you can. I would not base my future on the midterm or even 2020 elections dude. Getting another year and a half or so of DACA won't help with the anxiety if deals are continually derailed by idiots on the far left and right.

Actually, we just have to see whether Durbin has actually been making progress on negotiations.

I am with ECW; I think a deal will be reached by March 5, since that is when Trump wanted DACA to end. Even Trump is tweeting the March 5th deadline.

But, if they fuck up, then I would consider looking into alternatives.

Senate doesn't start debating on immigration until after Feb 8th CR.

I am hoping for that as well. I think the Dems are well aware of how bad this looks and I honestly think while the injunction is/was a good thing, it took the sense of urgency out of the process.

Now, they're all falling back on the March 5th deadline as if people are not currently out of status and in danger of deportation.

Democrats agreed to the Feb 8 CR because McConnell promised a debate and vote on the floor for Dream Act IF a deal is not reached by Feb 8.

Remember. If next Thursday, there is no deal, aa vote and debate on Dream Act is what Schumer, Durbin and MCConnell agreed on.

McConnell and his promises are bs. Would not trust this man even if Jesus told me personally he believed him. Even if somehow DA was debated and got the votes chances of trump signing it into law is very low.
