Are you talking about their healthcare repeal of the insurance mandate? If so the repeal of ObamaCare mandate was also a part of this tax bill. The Republicans killed 2 birds with 1 stone with the passage of their tax bill.

If I’m not mistaken the healthcare bill you referred to above never got a vote in the senate. You must be referring to the “skinny repeal” bill in which John McCain, Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski voted no. This was the bill McCain was praised the most for saving Obamacare.

Scalise on DACA: We've been working for months, in the House, with a bipartisan working group and in own conference to come to an agreement to handle this...it's gotta be done right.

Scalise on the Goodlatte immigration bill: I'd like to whip that bill , Goodlatte's been working on the final pieces especially on the agriculture side with Chairman Conaway

Scalise on if Hse GOPers don't want to touch DACA: We're not in agreement on our side on how to properly address it..we've been having a lot of meetings, briefings with members..to see if we can come to consensus..We're not there yet

Yea...nothing good will come out of the House if they are still focused on Goodlatte and the Dems lost all leverage. Best case scenario would be Senate passes a decent bill and in the House the do a discharge petition. Trump is also the wild card in it all.

No bill is voted on, it’s an amendment process where everyone adds some legislation and agree to to s outcome.

Trump is going to be the key factor in this. I believe something will come out of the Senate first. What happens in the House will depend on Trump's opinion of said Senate bill.
