Pres. Trump statement of support for Grassley/Cornyn immigration proposal. Also urges senators to oppose any short term or stop gap fallback proposals on DACA

There you go. The last sentence translates to "Thanks for funding our troops. Now I get to dictate the immigration deal however I WANT because you have no leverage. Get on board or go home"

2.5 more days of government funded show time for everybody.

Democrats got outplayed. They are so stupid for giving up leverage. Now, they want to act like they have a spine. This is ridiculous. Both parties are at fault, but my God, Democrats really fucked things up when they have a chance to get a better deal. For fuck sakes.

It looks like it may all be up to the courts if nothing gets done. I doubt anyone would want to touch this issue if it gets so close to midterms.

Well there it is. It's either Grassley's bill or nothing.

I hope everyone crying about extending status that we're probably not even going to get in the end are proud of themselves. Family unification? Enjoy unified as illegals, or back in their home country when we're all deported.

Why is anyone surprised that the Dems messed this up? If you read Obama's Audacity of Hope, that's exactly what he touches on. Dems being on the defensive, never being able to hold their line, always having to explain what they stand for. It's not surprising. The Republicans just have a better PR machine and reach out to voters.

republicans dgaf plain and simple thats y they win. they are very shrewd.

democrats always play the moral high ground path when they go low we go high.. thats y they continue to lose.

remember when Mcconnell stole a SCOTUS seat for a year? Chuck Schumer didnt have the balls to do some shit like that.
