OK, seriously...I have a question...after this total shitfest of a "Immigration bill process"...

...What are the chances that the Dems threaten another shutdown and stick to it this time to get a full on Dream Act + Border Wall?

Like seriously...is there any inkling of a chance...just to get the Dreamer thing done NOW...that they go all in for the Dreamers.

IMO, I think it is a pipe dream, as shutting down the government again for Dreamers sounds like a bad idea...but seriously...what are the damn chances...someone please enlighten me!!! lol...

Oh btw, if the Dems even entertain the thought of giving any kind of Border Wall money for some bullshit DACA extension...then they do not deserve to have political power IMO...

0%.
they have no balls, but are smart enough to know doing that would be the nail in the already dug coffin in midterms.
repubs already have a lead in the polls, dems will not do anything else to fuck with that.
unfortunately that also means they will not negotiate for a true bipartisan deal that both sides can benefit from, precisely because it just gives repubs more to celebrate over, and more momentum.
what they don't understand is that their carelessness in getting anything done, will just sway moderates over to populist repubs, and the independents are already more than fed up with them.

in short, dems are fucked either way.
but if they actually cared in any way about us, like some people here seem to think they do, they would've had said fuck it and conceded to get closer to a bill that would've stood a chance in the house.

Don’t worry. I’m sorry but imo, anyone who would take advantage of this program really doesn’t seem to have any dignity for themselves.
