Irrespective of the failure of this bill, Democrats should have used their leverage on spending guys. Straight up.

I’m not saying they are bad people or republicans are bad people, we are not victims lol, we are entitled to nothing, but putting dems on a pedestal or claiming they have a moral higher ground is stupid. All politicians are the same (for better or worse).
Why wouldn’t you take advantage of it? Because here you are wining about how they “used you” and how they want to “keep you on a tight leash” with the program. Well as I said, if it’s too horrrible for you then why apply? They didn’t put a gun to your head did they?

And no one is defending the Democrats or saying they have “high moral grounds,”either you are blind or are having a tough time reading my post.

Oh, yes they are, sweetie. The administration hates lots of others enough to waste taxpayer $$ to try to strip their rights. The poor, the sick, children, women, gays, students, the disabled.

And I'm not even talking about the immigrants; these are American citizens.

It was the lack of notice and comment - the APA.
Which is exactly what I mentioned, the Administrative Procedure Act, also known as APA. Geez do people read post nowadays or just assume.

There is no defending them.

We are all facing uncertainty because of them.

They use us regardless of whether you sign up or not. Why would you put yourself in a worse situation?

I blame them. It's not that I don't blame the other side too, but Dems fucked up big for us today. After Dems caved on the shutdown, thus giving up any credibility and leverage they might have had, Trump was never going for something "bipartisan". He didn't have to. The other side lost all they had. If the other party loses all leverage for a deal, why would you ever offer them something that is beneficial to them when you can have your cake and eat it too? Dems knew this. If Democrats had any decency, they would have swallowed a bad deal to protect 800k lives that were at stake. They didn't care. Keeping the diversity visa among other bullshit stuff was more important than saving real people. Fuck them.

Schumer should have done a shut down last year to stop the passage of the Tax Bill... Do not give him any victories!!! What did the Turtle say when he took over? Our goal is to make President Obama a one term president... Democrats are weak... They are spineless.
