So we've got from the layman's perspective.
1. More scandals than one can count.
2. Failed ACA replacement.
3. Government shutdown.

Lets not pretend that budget bills are an achievement.

Yea the budget bill isn't really an achievement, but that won't stop Trump from boasting about it and his base believing it. And Trump's lawyer Dowd resigned. Dowd was only a few days ago on TV saying Mueller should end his investigation.

Precisely, it is like when some were willing to trade their judicial rights for the same extension.

There has got to be limits set on what is accepted. No point in having a limited status w/ limited judicial rights....is simply quick and efficient removals.

I’d like to hear you say that when we don’t get shit and we are facing deportation. You’ll be begging for the extension then.

Once you give him what he wants, he will then come after you once your 3 year permit expires. You are assuming he will lose the presidential election.

Then your ass will be crying over the stupid deal that was made then.

I am wondering...does anyone here think that between now and 2020 presidential election...that Dreamers will get a permanent fix?

I would like think so, because all of this drama and then never doing anything for the next 10 years+ seems like an abandonment of our potential futures and lives in general. Seems like such a despair-filled outcome

Although I know that nothing being done is a sad possibility...

I don't think anything will be done between now and 2020. I think 2020 needs to yield a new president as well for us to have any chance of having something pass. Trump and Republicans won't give anything in the realm of a fair deal. Just file your renewal and try to make it to 2020.

Doubt it. Trump won't touch any Dreamers with active DACA.
