NEW: @TXAG Ken Paxton seeks a preliminary injunction against #DACA , asking a federal court to stop the government from issuing or renewing any permits while a lawsuit challenging its legality is still pending.

again, it is an election year for paxton. he probably did this to appeal to his hardline republican base. he is up for re-election this year.
