The people who are getting detained are actively in removal proceedings, have a deportation order or have a criminal history(including prior charges) that may warrant their arrest.

If you have none of the aforementioned, you are fine.

Congratulations!

I'm in the process now. Have an approved I-130, but waiting for ruling on motion to terminate. If case is terminated, I'll file 485 with USCIS, otherwise will have to adjust in front of IJ.

so if the motion to terminate is denied, you can try to adjust in front of IJ?

Correct. It's not uncommon to adjust in front of the judge, but USCIS is generally assumed to be a friendlier agency. All this is assuming you are eligible to adjust..

Question. Both of my recipt numbers for 130 ans 485 start with MSC. How do I check the processing time for those ?

I dont see National benefits center listed on any of the two lists

Honestly I wouldn't worry about it. Those dates are wildly off and never updated on time. Just track your case by the case numbers and be patient. For my case, I didn't hear anything other than my case was received, my EAD had shipped and then 6 months later that my case had been scheduled.

But if you still want to look, look up your field office. Not the National Benefits Center. They can take however long before they sent it to where your interview will be.

Thanks for the clarification.
