you know whats really sad? its when we put all our hopes and dreams on the numbers 218 and 60 votes, maybe we should stop using politicians as an excuse not to do something with our lives?

find a way to get yourself legalized: get married, shouldve joined mavni, move to another country, etc. take control of your own destiny. can't live illegal forever u know, so much of our lives are wasted in waiting.

whos that guy in the other topics section? uthinkable or whatever the fuck his name is, he claims to be "republican for life" and lord knows i disagree with the shit he says on here but i respect him for doing something with his life and eventually got legalized instead of waiting around with sticks up our asses like the rest of us here.

at the end of the day, yeah sure.. Democrats want to help us and Republicans want to deport us and it all ends in a stalemate but what are you personally doing to change or improve your life as an undocumented here in America with all the handicaps you already know we have?

Because they're calling their bluff. When have Republicans ever come up with a fair immigration reform package and Democrats have killed it? Never? Yeah, never. How about the Opposite? Oh yeah, every damn time. What are YOU on?

Ok fine,YOU find a way to legalize yourself then and get off here. That way you won't be so sad and come up with lazy assessments that "they're all the same". Go on...go legalize yourself and show us how it's done. Maybe you can find that citizenship line that Republicans keep telling us to get behind. Maybe there is a citizenship tree somewhere. Show the way!

nah there isnt a citizenship tree somewhere but you make due with the hand you're dealt, (i put all my chips on the democrats on the spending bill) i gotta admit i was disappointed but i still believe a Democratic Congress is the best chance we got but i made Plan B's, C's for myself like applying for express entry to another country and not sit on my ass like what you been doing the last half century waiting for something to happen.

damn bro, why are you so butt-hurt when someone mentions Democrats in front of you? is your mom like a Democratic member in Congress? man u need to develop thicker skin... just because someone says "fuck democrats" or "fuck republicans" for a man that's nearly 50 years old, you get butt-hurt about politicians you havent even met in real life. shit, i never seen so much devotion to a group of people.. i mean i agree with you they are the best chance we got for legalization when Democrats take majority, but damn you take this blind loyalty up a notch. i mean i love Obama (who is a good man) for giving us DACAers a shot at life but the Democrats didnt even give u anything and u worship the ground they're on. Atleast for us DACAers we have something to thank Democrats for.

i mean i am not wrong when i say all politicians are the same, they are all self-serving and are only in office to line their pockets? yeah there are a few good people like Bernie Sanders & Tulsi Gabbard (who should be the Democratic ticket in 2020 btw.)

lastly, stop using politicians as an excuse because of inactions in your life. i can also sit here till im 50 yrs old and complain about how these great Washington bureaucrats are in control of my life and not me.

I like it. It's the Dem's way of telling the Republicans to put up or shut up. They want to run their mouths that they want to find a solution, well there it is, sign the petition. Only 25 needed and they can't even get that.

I wish they would just get this over with whether they allow us to legalize or not. I just need a definite answer, so I can move on with my life.

Wow you have no idea how hard it is to legalize right?

Most of us call this country our home.

Dont tell us that we need to move out or that we should get married just for legal status.

Some people believe marriage to be a sacrament.

You are entitled to your opinion obviously but that doesnt make it right ir humanely possibly for every single DREAMER stuck in legal limbo.

Trump has most of the blame. Period

yeah you right Trump is to blame but how long we gonna keep using that? when Trump is gone who we gonna blame next if nothing still happens?

yeah i believe marriage is a sacrament, thats why i chose not to go that way to legalize. i chose another way not to be stuck in limbo.

if you're gonna keep finding ways to find blame, then yeah i guess its better for us to stay illegal forever. lmao yeah i get it, we have handicaps as undocumented people but shit, you control your own life.

It's hard to try to reason with you when you're on your 4th renewal of something Democrats gave you and Republicans are actively trying to take away.
