I've been looking at the draft and I was wondering....since some people wont be awarded GC the first year even if they apply, does that mean just to be sure everyone should apply to renew the 6-year temporary status while at the same time apply for a GC?

The visa number is a problem. 55000 visas per year will means it will take many many years for DACA people to even get green card. But i guess non-immigrant status works for now.

I think so, after 5/6 years, whatever is the initial period you'll apply to renew it. you will also be able to file for a green card. they'll evaluate your application and will put you in a queue based on some point system. when your points meet or exceed the cutoff points they'll adjust your status. slowly they'll adjust everyone in the queue using the Green Card in escrow. it is somewhat similar to Canadian system.

Those who are contributing members of the community will have your cases reviewed on a case by case basis, but definitely no "I only work labor/mediocre job" Dreamer will stay lmao. Two or more misdemeanors = Automatic deportation + Life time bar from the US. If DACA recipients cannot meet requirements after 5 years, they will be considered national threats to US security and thus automatically deported using the information they have submitted to fill out their previous DACA applications. Selfish Dreamers are without a doubt the clearest representation of a human selfishness/narcissism and deserve no sympathy.
Careful these are fighting words... I sense an impending argument.
