They need to come come up with a bill that has a chance of passing the house let alone the Senate. Build that fucking wall, hire a trillion border guards for fucks sake.

I have to agree with dtrt here. They are actually looking to prevent passage of any bill, not just a terrible one. Both parties are just going to placate to their base.

Republicans: “See, border security and chain migration need to be dealt with before any amnesty.”
Democrats: “this is why we need a decade of blue waves.”

We all should understand that at this point, specially so close in midterms, neither party is trying to fix the DACA issue. Both sides need us to energize their base.

One side will energize it to come and vote against us, and the other side will energize so they can “protect us”. This is all about mind games and scoring political points, nothing else.

The discharge petition was the only true compromise, this is not a bipartisan ill.

The Republicans did this bill behind closed doors like the filthy snakes they are. the only solution would be bipartisan, this is just shit.

Very strict on any criminal record.

Aged out dreamers kind of unfair.

It has to be "moderated" a bit more if they want Dem votes.
Lets wait for the amendments introduced by moderates. being strict on criminal records or on DUI etc is no issue. if they remove final deportation clause at least if its related to EWI as minor or similar reason and be more inclusive for aged out dreamers it will be a good deal. nothing else will pass in another decade. Democrats are not going to get super majority and POTUS and no guarantee they will do another CIR.
