Monday, Kansas Governor Jeff Colyer and Attorney General Derek Schmidt announced Kansas joins the Texas-led, 10-state challenge to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

Schimdt says he had delayed the legal action from Kansas in hops Congress would address the situation, "bringing clarity to what should be done."

But Congress has so far failed to do so," Shmidt says.
“We have waited for Congress as long as we could. But with congressional inaction, we must enforce the law as it is. Under our Constitution, no president has the authority to unilaterally rewrite or suspend the law. Perhaps a successful lawsuit will help motivate Congress finally to fix this mess. I hope so.”

Not much. Just means that there’s one more state on that court case.

I’m from Kansas as well. I’m surprised they didn’t join the lawsuit from the beginning.

It makes no difference. Likely, DACA won't be upheld by the Supreme Court. There is no solution that doesn't involve congressional intervention. The current Trump strategy is to use existing laws and legal avenues to pressure congress into signing a bill.

Pianos, thanks the republican states, Congress will be forced to act. The democrats can’t hide forever.

Where is Reagan when you need him.

What do you cant hide forever..? It was the democrats who first called the shots, it was them who back in September 2017 gave Trump his wall money with a bill that Trump liked.

Come on enough trolling
