They’re not deferring their oversight. There is no law requiring the child separation. It’s a policy that’s been put in place, and literally can be stopped if Trump tells them to stop. Its like when a kid doesn’t eat dinner and then cries about being hungry. Just eat your dinner. No need to rush the kid to the hospital and admit him for malnutrition.

Don’t let that kid start dictating how you parent by making threats and doing things you don’t approve of...
