i can't believe there are people saying that those who serve should be legalized but not their families and that this woman should be deported.

"The Law is the Law." Oh please, our laws are not always cut and dry. These critics need to go to law school and find out how different judges in different jurisdictions hold different "laws." Laws are not simply a bunch of codes that law enforcement officials simply regurgitate and passively apply. They are complex and open for interpretation, and just because something is "law" does not mean it's just. That's why we have appellate courts.

understand that that excuse is just that an excuse they hide behind to justify their stand. i sincerely believe that if most illegals in this country weren't latinos, a lot of people would feel different.

I agree! This all comes down to racism... sadly, it's true.
You have dark skin and black hair, and BAM, you're illegal! and they have a "justified" reason to hate your guts...

Yesterday, we were coming back from getting the groceries, and we (me and my parents) saw 3 latino guys sitting at the bus stop waiting for the bus... and it was pouring rain. I wished I were driving so that i could give them a ride
Where I live, there has been a epidemic of crimes against latinos... most of them worked in constructions, and they were robbed and some got killed. The crimminals think that they have a lot of money on them bc they work in construction, but they rarely talk about it on the news The effin' Gators are more important than these poor guys that get shot for a few hundred dollars.

The problem, I think, is the combination of fear and a basic inability to understand anything complex.
