the argument the judge used to issue the injunction to stop DACA from ending isnt even about contract law, the argument they made for keeping DACA in place was that the Trump Admin ended DACA because of racial animus.

I am being sarcastic.

I know the cause of action is not even about contract law. But, you and Pianos are raising that legal issue. Who is going to invalidate our current EAD? The 9th Circuit? SCOTUS?

One thing is wind down the program, which the Trump administration tried to do by order revocation. Another thing is wind down the program AND call for the immediate revocation of our current EADs.

It's the ELF bro. That shit would have been ordered last year if could legally do so. He didn't, so I have no clue why this fear-mongering possibility is even being thrown out there.

THEN the Trump administration would get SUED on that matter if it tried to do that. Immediate revocation of our current EADS is not even a legal issue in all the cases that resulted in an injunction against the Trump administration.

Again, they had the opportunity to do that last year. IT"S FUCKING SESSIONS bro. Pretty sure he thought about it. Pretty sure he knew the admin would get sued for doing that.

No they wouldn’t because they would argue the contract was made under an old administration and their promise. Not the new one.

USCIS said from day one that they could end our daca at their discretion. This normally meant if you were a bad hombre but this could easily be applied to general change of administration policy

And if they were to be sued. Who you think would sue them? Republicans?

Come on we will wait we have until 8/8

Moreover, you criticize both sides. Since you also criticize both parties, then that must mean that we should automatically group you in the "GOP fan club" since that is what many of you do.

"You don't like X; therefore, you must belong to Y." It's not black and white.

Nice try. But, wrong.

Executive branch can end DACA, but gov. must respect each recipient's EAD relief period, irrespective of administration change.

Show me case law to prove otherwise.
