just want to add to this;

i recently work with BofA for a mortgage loan. i know daca have big hurdle going through big banks for mortgage loan, i figure all they could have said is no.

so i specifically tell them i dont have a visa but i have a SSN and EAD and over 2yr work history. then they ask what kind of status i have, i simply said EAD. and i told them "category 33" (daca grouping without saying daca) and they come back to me and said it should be fine and we move ahead to the end. long story short....at the end they couldn't process it. because they said my status is in between. i argued my case i told them from the beginning what my status is, even asked them to ask their senior people or underwriter. they went quiet.

i moved on with Citi and got my mortgage loan approved with competitive rate. if anyone looking to be a homeownership with daca send me a DM i can give you the person of contact.

I have boa. Ive had it since way before DACA. I want to say I got it in 2008. Anywho I’ve never had a problem with them. I even bought some stuff off a fake nfl website and contact them immediately after I found out what they were selling was fake. They fully refunded me and blocked that website from accessing my account. A month later I ended up getting the fake jerseys in the mail without paying for them.

What other banks are Daca friendly?

At some point won’t all banks start doing this?

They shouldn't because we are legally here, and also because illegal immigrants/illegal aliens can get bank accounts with just passports and consular ID, so we are one degree higher of safety.

I ditched BoA a few months ago when they dropped their free eChecking accounts. It wouldn't have affected me (I could meet the minimums) but it really affects low-income households. BoA is doing some really morally unquestionable things.

Well guys what are the options of national banks? I'm not doing Wells Fargo - hate those bitches. I travel from coast to coast often. Chase is not everywhere.

Shouldn't you just get a visa card???

Don't most banks have visa cards????

Visa is accepted globally, even in your home country(probably)
