DACA is so powerful, mighty, and green, that the silly kangaroo courts of this nation cannot feasibly rule it illegal without facing the daunting task of battling a never ending onslaught of appeals. An onslaught of appeals so grand and indomitable that it will ensure that anyone who considers ending the unkillable daca will think twice and then THINK THRICE!

DACA shines in all its might and glory of a people reborn by the faith put in them by Lord Imperator Obama. Any foolish individual who attempts to kill the unkillable, sink the unsinkable, will find that they will be attempting that which is impossible! To pillage the lives of young innocent people, set the lives ablaze, and cast them to the wolves, will find out that DACA is akin to a powerful, restless, and angry specter to which voters will respond with howling fury against those who have angered it!

DACA is the specter of law, truth, justice, and economic might. To violate the sanctity of DACA is to violate the sanctity of truth itself. DACA cannot be ended, for it is a logical fallacy to end something which by its nature and properties cannot be ended.

DACA shines through all that is vile and distasteful, with powerful and grandiose shimmering glory of all the spectrum both visible and NOT, and will ultimately prevail in its original purpose no matter how many wolves, coyotes, snakes, and prairie vermin, phony courts, and unfunny jesters, nip at it's powerful and resounding heels.

DACA will pull through for us as it's steps and advancement are swift, sturdy, and unyielding to the perils of the wild, reckless, vile, corrupt, degenerate, deranged, wicked members of our fine nation that seek to harm the meek yet adamant DACA, that which is backed by a potent, robust, and vigorous defense.

DACA cannot be stopped, once put in motion it becomes the embodyment of the juggernaut! For it's might and power cause it to BE the JUGGERNAUT.

DACA is ever present and ever near!

This judge knows that ending daca know would favor democrats in the ballot this November so he is deferring it to the circuit court in hopes the higher court will kills daca after the midterm elections.

Amen to that brother.

The plaintiffs (Texas and others) and the defendants (some DREAMers and ... the state of New Jersey... thanks NJ, I love you) have 3 weeks to come up with some new arguments about why the program shouldn't be put on halt via immediate injunction pending a trial (effectively ending it).

Once the arguments are submitted to the judge, the judge will consider the facts presented and then make another decision whether or not he'll issue an injunction (say.. in 3~6 weeks time).

The judge has ruled the non-order of an injunction appealable (a rare step) which means that Texas could appeal the lack of injunction to the appeals court in which case the appeals court could issue an injunction. Never the less, there will still likely be a trial going on in the background.

So anyway - this is all sorts of bad for us.

Primarily that there's no talk of another phase-out of DACA - it's all about immediate termination if DACA is found to not have been lawfully implemented.

Fuck - why didn't the government go through the stupid APA procedure of notice-and-comment?

Not even the most anti-immigration judge in the country wants to immediately terminated DACA and at this point I highly doubt it will be immediately terminated. After 3 courts has ruled for it to be continued, no court wants to be that one to immediately terminate it, hence why I believe they will continue to deflect this until it gets to the Supreme Court.

Hypothetically speaking though, say DACA got to the Supreme Court and it is immediately terminated without any sort of phase out or cut off window. There would be total chaos and confusion, main question. What would happen to pending applications at the time of the ruling etc.? or the people who had their bio appointment scheduled or their $495 check cashed?

I know a lot of you guys on here knock me for always saying this, but as it gets closer to the 2020 elections the less likely we are going to see anything legislatively that will give us GC's or a path to citizenship. The best we are going to get is a 1 or 2 year patch, BRIDGE, extension (call it whatever the hell you want) to avoid the confusion that I stated above in the event of a immediate termination of DACA.
