You received the "ready to schedule for interview" update within 2 months of submitting your file?
Oh God.. I'm really behind then.

Does this timeline sound normal to you guys:
Case received August 2017.
EAD February 2018.
I just got an update 10 days ago saying "we scheduled an interview for you I-485. We will mail you an interview notice.

Still have not received anything in the mail yet.

you can probably make your own inquiries too. i think too often they say they'll 'look' at it and don't, so multiple inquiries are useful

when i was approved for EAD in July last year, i received the approval letter but the card never came. It took 4 inquiries (combination website, email & phone), until in mid November, a 2nd level rep or officer on the phone finally took some sort of action, and i received the card a week later. Don't be afraid to press them a bit for information

Divorce him and apply on your own.

Anyone here use their income because your wife doesn't make enough/doesn't work? On the instructions for I-864 it states the following

Quote:
He or she does not need to complete Form I-864A unless he or she has
accompanying children.
That section is talking about the immigrant. What if you and your spouse have a child together, would that count as the immigrant having accompanying children and would mean that the immigrant has to file I-864A or is that talking about the immigrant having children of their own?

I believe you can still remove your conditional status as long as you can prove the marriage was in good faith. I would definitely consult a lawyer and see how to do that and what evident to provide.
