A Beto win was always a long shot and the Senate was never really within reach because the 1/3rd of the seats that were up for grabs this year were almost all held by Ds.

The most important thing is that Dems got the house. Why is this good for us? Because the republicans no longer have carte blanche to do whatever they want. In order to get anything passed, the republicans will need to do a tiny bit of compromising -- and some sort of lukewarm DACA-type deal might be in store for us.
