The question is...

Can republicans jam 5 billion for the wall with nothing in return?

I am thinking we would lose at least a couple of democrats.

We could however get a couple of republicans to shoot down the bill, Collins, Flake?

I guess the answer is NO FUCKING way...

"
Sen. Richard J. Durbin (Ill.), the No. 2 Senate Democrat, said Thursday that he doesn’t anticipate Democrats agreeing to more than the $1.6 billion they’ve already signed off on for the 2019 fiscal year.

“I don’t see it. I think we’ve taken a position which is reasonable. We’ve given this administration more money than they can spend, and I don’t see it,” Durbin said. “If there are variables and things that are offered to us, of course we’ll consider them, but I think our position is pretty sound and understandable.”

Durbin, a longtime champion of permanent protections for immigrants brought illegally to the country as children, said he was not aware of talks to make a deal on those “dreamers” in exchange for money for Trump’s wall. Such deals have been attempted repeatedly under Trump’s presidency only to collapse in the end.

Cornyn and other Republicans say they are open to such a deal now, but it appears unlikely to come together in the short time lawmakers have ahead of the Dec. 7 deadline."

Check this out right here: https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/n...r-wall-funding

Chuckster wants $1.9B to be approved for 2019 budget for Border Wall funding. Mitchy "The Turtle" McConnell wants $5B. They keep adding these small amounts with nothing in return. Democrats need to get tough and stop this asap. We are getting nothing in return. These small amounts will add up and they will have full Border Wall funding and we will have nothing.

At this point, can we all please agree to one thing..The Clean Dream Act movement is an EPIC failure!

This is not the first time. Billions have already been appropriated so far and we are nowhere close to having any sort of compromise. Trump Admin is slowly accumulating the necessary funds for Border Wall/Security technology. Nancy Pelosi has no interest in getting anything done for Dreamers (This is why Trump supports her to become Speaker again..he wants status quo with these Democrats).

This quote is pretty pathetic. Trump has been able to get a decent amount of money on border security without not even a fucking bridge act in exchange. Why are they even giving him any fucking money for ANY type of border security. FUCKING WHY.

Dicky Durbin, the undisputed King of Dream Act needs to now kick it into final gear and get it done instead of continuing to keep us dreaming about it.

Fu***** Dems won’t do shit. They’re straight up trying to use us for 2020. I officially join the SCOTUS crowd. End it, or else Dems will keep on using us until the end of time.

Unless Trump triggers a shutdown and forces his will, don't expect anything to get done until after the 2020 elections--that's a huge if.

Marble balled Democrats have conceded billions so far for the Wall. All urgency was lost when the courts sided with DACA. We can just pray now that Trump actually shuts down the govt (This is wishful thinking. There will be NO shutdown. Trump is just playing. He knows the CR will have SOME wall funding.) This is the right time to get it done while lame ducks like Jeff Flake are in office to help us but Chucky Schumer has already indicated that "there is no interest for a deal and will let it to go 2020."

I have heard from a lot of the local Dems that they don't want anything to get done on immigration because agreeing to a fix will make Trump look good, heading to 2020.

With no "urgency" on daca, Dems will not agree to anything Trump proposes. Dems might offer some deals, but we already know the end result there. Trump wants things done his way.
