The debate on comprehensive immigration reform will have to wait another two years for it to return to the United States Congress.

Four days after Univision News reported exclusively that the issue had faced Republicans and Democrats a few hours after the mid-term election, the minority leader in the Senate, Charles Schumer (Democrat by New York), announced that there are "little desire" to negotiate an agreement in the next two years.

Last week Schumer's office simply told Univision News that the plenary's agenda was in the hands of the Republicans. "But the leader still believes in comprehensive immigration reform and would be anxious to work with the Republicans."

However, a source from Schumer's office said the issue is postponed "until 2020", when Americans return to the polls to elect President number 46.

Schumer isn’t stupid. With the recent court rulings he knows that most dreamers won’t expire either close to 2020, or after 2020, and it’s quite clearly that the Democrats plan on using us again as political pawns for the 2020 election.

And once Trump wins in 2020, because believe me he will, our issue will be pushed again until 2024.

They tried and republicans fucked them and us over. There’s no pleasing McConnell or trump on immigration so why even continue trying. Depending on what happens with SCOTUS daca ruling we will at best get some relief. But CIR is pushed back

The very facebook that published fake news ads paid for by Russians.

Screw CIR

GOP wants end to BRC in return for CIR

CIR will never happen

Dems are too reluctant to budge

Dems rather have the problem persist.

Schumer must do Wall-DACA or he is a snake

Although I get it that they “tried”. We have to admit that this is just another Democratic strategy.

First they told us to wait after the midterms until we take back the House because they would have more leverage, now they’re saying wait until 2020 until we recapture the White House.

This is same excuse they give us over and over. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy they won the House because we all know they’re the lesser evils when it comes to immigration.

However their weak mindset of not being as agressive as Republicans when their in power it’s what kills me. The Democrats are just weak plain and simple.

I feel like Schumer has showned his real colors when it comes to DACA.

Schumer and Pelosi did and offered him a lot of money in exchange for dreamer relief. Trump agreed and then renaged on the agreement. Stop blaming democrats

I expire in May 2019

Had my renewals in by Feb 2018

Nobody's asking you to what to do
