Hello, Congratulations to everyone adjusting their status. On Wednesday I had my Naturalization interview, I was so damn nervous even though I had been studying the 100 questions of which they only ask 10 of which you must get 6 right. needless to say I answered my 1st 6 questions correctly and passed. I was told my Naturalization ceremony would not be until March 2019. Everyone please don't give up. This country will let us have are freedom one day.

Maybe because I submitted very strong evidence in the first package and my wife and I had been together and living together for years before we got married.

thank you again for sharing for timeline and experience. my husband and I have been together 12 years, married for 4, have 2 kids, and plenty of evidence of a bonified marriage. hopefully our interview with be soon, and quick approval. praying....

Has anyone gotten a joint car loan as means of proving a financially tied marriage?

My wife does not have very good credit but I am thinking on getting a car. Mostly paid with cash and a small amount with a loan, say 5k.

What are the benefits if any of doing this?

Hi everyone,

We got my husband’s I-130 approval notice yesterday. I’m surprised it got processed pretty quickly considering it said 9-12 months online and we went it in June. For the I-485 form do we have to wait for the NVC’s case number/letter or can we send it in without waiting for the NVC? In this case, it’s EWI...I don’t know if that makes a difference.

You cannot do 485 if EWI. You do 601a then leave for consular interview overseas.
