People who say that they will take bridge act forget that it's a 1 time thing. After 3 years expire you won't be able to renew. You are back to square 1. What makes you think they will do something for you after that? We need permanent solution now.

outgoing Chief of Staff John Kelly just said in an interview that Trump gave up the concept of an actual “wall” months ago.

Democrats still think he means an actual wall, either that and they just dont want to give Trump a win on Immigration.

its just basically border security, they just need to bring up the 2013 Senate Comprehensive Immigration Reform Bill and all this DACA, TPS, Caravan, etc and all this bullshit will end.

Graham probably intends to tweek it a little because he mentioned one chance of renewal.

We all know we need a permanent solution, but Dems aren't going to give him $25 billion for something permanent right now, and Trump will not give you something permanent for $ 5 billion. Graham said that in his press conference.

We are LUCKY if we get a patch right now, especially the one Graham mentioned.

The DACA-for-border-wall $ deal that Graham discussed today is not something Democrats are interested in now, in part because the issue is expected to go to a high court challenge in 2019

That’s actually my biggest fear. Even with urgency they will still just go with a bridge act.
