IMPT—If POTUS is serious then:
1) HE & his admin, including DHS Sec, must stop saying “deal” includes asylum or legal imm changes
2) Say he’ll support citizenship for Dreamers for $XXX
3) Tell McConnell & Senate GOP to pass it

Its simple & up to him to end the crisis he started.

You heard wrong. The IRS will not be able to process refunds if their part of the government is not open. This will be over within a week.

Yeah they are likely to fully open the government within a week or open most of the government with the exception of DHS, while they hash out a plan for that.
