All other Republicans don't matter. We always have some Republican support for DACA, nothing changed here.

The proposal absolutely has to come from Trump himself. Mitch will only vote on it with Trump's approval.

He is going to declare a national emergency and try to get the wall money through that... I will be shocked if there is a wall-daca deal.

He’s going to be sued ASAP. Won’t even get a chance to get anything started.

Yup! Then he can turn to his base and say that he did everything he could... Democrats did not want to negotiate... I even declared national emergency... Etc... It is all about saving face for him at the moment.

I’m still shocked they haven’t thought out making dreamers pay for PR and have that go to the wall. I’ll be happy to pay.
