you do realize these are luxuries right? 98% of people dont have the privilege to own fancy cars or lakefront properties.

asking for legalization doesn’t mean it will be automatically given to us.

for the last time, this country doesn’t owe us nothing. DACA or any legalization in the future is just a blessing.

Being allowed to flaunt the immigration laws of the nation is an incredible privilege in and of itself. It is already a privilege that you can sit in DACA-status and DEMAND a greencard be served up to you on a silver platter. If you want to DEMAND a greencard, then you'd better have something they want, either family ties to this nation, job offer, advanced skills, or 500k USD. Anything else is peanuts.

This nation is not obligated to accept us, give us anything, or even do anything in our favor. The nation that is obligated, is known as your birth country, the one you ran away from.

Let me put it this way, it would certainly be a nice gesture from this nation to grant us the privilege of staying permanently and merging into the American Populace. I would certainly prefer to stay in the nation I know.
Believe me if it wasn't for bullshit 10 year bars I'd get sponsored by my uncle or some shit and happily polish the floor at his car dealership for 6 months to get a green card.

That's all that's required for USCIS to not ask questions regarding the legitimacy of the employment. EB-3 in general is a fucking joke with requirements that haven't been updated since 1990.

Gotta advertise in newspapers and all that shit, like... when's the last time you bought a newspaper?

They failed because almost zero GOP voted for Dream Act. We only needed like 5 GOP in the Senate.

Obama quote from 2011. Democrats made him do it.

Quote:
Given that the DREAM Act was rejected again by the Senate last December, Univision news anchor Jorge Ramos, who was moderating the event, asked Obama if he could sign an executive order preventing the deportations.

"With respect to the notion that I can just suspend deportations through executive order, that's just not the case," the president said.

"There are enough laws on the books by Congress that are very clear in terms of how we have to enforce our immigration system that for me to simply through executive order ignore those congressional mandates would not conform with my appropriate role as president," Obama said.

This *nation* HAS a responsibility and an obligation to FIX broken immigration the way the AMERICAN CITIZENS agree with. And the answer to that is to provide us a path to citizenship, or some kind of legal status.

you’re always framing it to something you want to happen. people will disagree with you on this, thats why this shit has been going on for decades.

they have a responsibility and obligation yeah sure, they also have the same responsibility to provide health care and other services to its CITIZENS..

we are entitled to nothing. stop demanding shit, you’re not an American Citizen. you’re gonna apply to whatever relief they pass.

Not if you get petitioned in employment category, only difference then being that DOL doesn't look favorably at the labor cert and USCIS requires the sponsor to file I-864. Other than that, no.
