Wow so many people are getting it confused here.
For you confuseds in the thread let me clarify.

In general when you are trying to pass legislation, you try and get legislation pre-approved in the other chamber. You work with the other side to secure votes, and you dare them to vote against their own interests.

Somehow it seems only the republicans are able to dare democrats not to vote.

That does not mean the republican speaker also leads the senate like you mistakenly believe. Don't worry, even great ones like myself make mistakes too.

I have never gotten pissed off for not taking the bait, that is just plain false.
I certainly in the past have gotten frustrated, but that was before I was first to catch onto what was going on.

Now, the longer time goes on the higher the rewards. Simple as that.

House democrats have literally been passing funding bills for the past two weeks to reopen the government. Republicans in the senate are unable to get Mitch McConnell to bring those for a vote.

What are you talking about?

So you don't understand, okay, I will explain it again. Its fine.

House democrats are wasting their time passing useless bills that only serve to kick the can forward. Action needs to happen and in those bills they ought to include the border security democrats offered and then dare the republicans to vote against it. Sneak in a path to citizenship for the Dreamer population and I promise you will peel away the republican base from their hidey holes.

Its the fastest way to clear out the shutdown, and it reaffirms the message that it is a trump shutdown cause hey they gave him border security for a minor concession but WOAH trump didnt accept it!

Clearly most dreamers in here are at least 2x more intelligent than congressmen. Even our idiots like Got_DACA could probably out think them.
