Dems wont accept. Bridge act is a shitty deal for 5.7b. And they wont counter offer either because as soon as they do, the shutdown becomes about dems protecting illegals. The Republican side has to offer something better

CNN are saying Dems will not accept Bridge Act because dreamers have protection for another year or so. Smart. We need USA Act at least. No point for them to cave for Bridge Act.

it shouldn’t be because of that but because it’s not enough. I’d wipe my ass with the BRIDGE act.
good starting point though.

I sense sarcasm here, because I struggle at times understanding his discombobulated thoughts. He sounds like someone with Wernike's Aphasia or some type of cognitive speech impediment lol. I like the dude though,

Where you at DJM

DACA already IS a temporary protection and thanks to the Texas lawsuit, it would still be at risk even if he left it in place. The only way this would be worth the while for Democrats is a USA or Dream Act...which doesn't leave people out and can eventually provide some sort of a pathway out of this mess.

This tells me they are willing to come to the table and start negotiating and putting in offers at least! Surely Pelosi is not stupid to continue with the "no negotiating" attitude!

If nothing else, Trump has made DACA a national issue. Trump's announcement may get more Republicans on our side, even if nothing passes this year or next.
