President Donald Trump’s Treasury secretary and top trade advisor opposed his surprise plan to impose new tariffs on Mexican imports, according to a source close to the White House who said the idea was pushed by immigration hawk Stephen Miller.

This dude, probably the most annoying human being after Trump. Now he is also running economic policy?

Yes it will because companies will always pass increased costs of doing business onto the consumers and when it comes to stuff like food then it's one of those things that you can't really do without.

If president Miller is making the call now, that's bad news for DACA.

It's not if. It already happened. The person that killed 25 bil for DACA was killed by Miller. He added the "4 pillars" and even went as far as wanting to change birthright citizenship (aka change the constitution).

Just saw this on the news

Quote:
Pelosi said Trump showed a "lack of understanding of the recklessness of his actions by threatening tariffs on Mexico" and claimed his decision was not based on "wise trade policy" but rather on "bad immigration policy on his part." She expressed hope Trump will work with Congress in order to agree on a bipartisan comprehensive immigration reform.
