Anyone read Trumps meltdown this morning? He tweeted that the progressive democrats in congress should go back to where they came from. Funny enough, 3 out of the 4 that he was referring to were born in the USA. Lmao.

I don't even know why he said that on twitter, definitely doesn't help the "we want immigrants to come in legally, that's all. We love legal immigrants" but then go on and say the congresswomen should go back to their country and as you mentioned, 3/4 were born in the US.

Seriously, the republican strategist are either too scared to voice their opinion or they have no idea what they're doing. If USA act or better passed, republican supporters can at least say "he's not racist, he helped DACA kids and most of them aren't white" which again, has 70%+ support even on fox news. They'll have something concrete to point to in terms of policy where they can defend his comments on race and even would've gotten border security funding.

I have no idea what's going on any more, it's literally a reality TV show.

I am in a more white part of town but Sunday evenings at the grocery store are usually a madhouse but when I went it had a 1/3 of the people it usually has.

They wanted to terrorize defenseless people who are already suffering and they succeeded. Who knows what the economic cost will be.

I think they are only targeting asylum seekers who skipped court date. After a ton of research, it’s basically to make an example out of asylum seekers who “abuse the system”. The Trump administration and the Democratic Party are making it bigger than what it actually is.

Both sides benefit from announcing huge ice raids.

Surely you don't really believe that. In the NY raids on Saturday, ICE was going to apartment complexes in the areas with heavy immigrant populations and going door to door knocking while people hid inside their bedrooms scared to death. They had no idea who was in those apartments. Maybe there was one person in their list to justify going to that complex but the goal wasn't just to get them. The goal was to catch as many people as they could no matter what sort of immigration issue they have, criminal or not.

If fellow dreamers are this gullible then are are totally fucked when it gets to the general population.
