ummm - it sure doesn't add sympathy for us in the eyes of a moderate voter. Not sure why this is so hard for some people to understand.

Well said. People should also realize that solving our issues are not really high on an average American's list of priorities. My guess is that of the population of moderates that read/saw news coverage about this California program, majority of them would not think twice. Maybe a "that's a nice thing to do". Sure, you may have a sub population of them (probably in California, since it is in the state of California) who may be deterred, but would they change their vote over this? Definitely not.

Some people on this forum were complaining about the possibility of not receiving $1200 from the federal government's CARES Act, while also complaining about the "optics" of this privately-funded program designed to help our brothers, sisters, and families.

Personally, I don't think we should be having a discussion amongst ourselves about the "optics" of this program. There are much bigger issues at hand - not only in our lives, but also in that of an average American's.

I yet to have a civil discussion with you so will ignore you like I usually do.

To others: People who cannot see why this is bad PR and that the cost benefit of this is negative are similar to people who take Mexico flags to protests and DEMAND citizenship. LMAO..

We are truly done for!

Pianos is the type of guy to walk in, type in some super biased argument about redhat dacas which dont actually exist except for possibly one.

Then he wants to trollbait someone, but his bait is never good enough to get anyone to bite seriously.

I used to be of the camp that brought the Mexican flags, but seriously, it just looks bad. I get the pride of Mexico, seriously, I'm the one cheerleading Mexico the most in here.

It makes us look more loyal to Mexico, than to the United States. So any moderates see the flags and instantly are like "if they like mexico so much they can leave."

Put the mexico flags down at home, and put up the Virgen Guadalupe flags.
