A big problem is that people don't realize DACA people pay all the taxes like everyone else, but are treated like "illegals". I'm sure some of you got your economic stimulus and a letter with Trump's signature that starts with

"My fellow American"

At the end of the day, DACA people are indeed 2nd class in the US. The republicans will always say that dems are helping illegals instead of US citizens. They've used it every time and even some dems believe it. It works when times are good (very high employment where businesses need workers) and works when times are bad (high unemployment but there are hard working DACA people contributing to the economy helping with the recovery, working in healthcare in a pandemic, working essential jobs in a pandemic). Therefore, there won't be a time where the republican saying won't work. There will always be a bill that needs to be passed before addressing DACA.

Worst of all, is they only needed to book Tickets to Mexico city and get a greencard by sneaking in, or a greencard from sailing across from cuba secretly through the night.

But oh no, DACAs with college education, job, no tickets, follow the law, fuck them. Back to Mexico. More proof of the ass backwards immigration system.

Cubans that immigrated via wet foot dry foot tend to be the most republican of latinos. They are the republicans in Florida.

I find it disappointing that a few bad apple H1Bs want to attack DACA.

I hope they are just trolling and won't actually make it harder for future immigrants.

Cruz is Trump's lapdog, after having been humiliated by Trump he is now at the beck and call of one Dongle Trump.

It is crazy how instead of retreating in shame, he proudly and boastfully shows his shame for all Texicans to see.

NEWSFLASH!

Any US Senator can object to a unanimous consent request.

I wish public schools would teach civics and more in depth US law.

Next outrageous nothingburger please!

The only immigrant I care about the most is me, myself, and I.

When we turned 18, we had a choice: stay here and accept that our parents brought us here illegally or go back to our native born country.

I chose to stay.

I love America.

I will be a citizen one day.

Until then, I will continue to advocate for the end of illegal immigration and the bringing of young people such as us to live in a "pseudo" legal immigrant status.

I would never encourage people from other countries to come here illegally.

Being illegal sucks and it deprives us of the many opportunities the USA offers to its Citizens and legal immigrants.

It is time our native countries, our parents, and our families took responsibility for past, present, and future of our own lives.

The fact that my parents didn't think ahead and wonder if I wanted to be more than just a fast food worker, or low skilled worker, speaks volumes of how backwards my own family is.

I stand for education, the rule of law, and love of country.

No nation can exist without strong borders and enforcing its immigration laws.

Mexico, my native country, has the right to decide who can and can't come inside its borders.

The USA has that right too. We must end future waves of "DREAMERS."

I don't wish this status on anyone. Stay in your countries. Come in legally. Learn the language, stop using "son racistas" just cause the US born population doesn't bend over and speak your language. This is our hosting country, we are the immigrants, not the other way around.

Democrats are not serious about immigration reform. They use us as pawns and you all have grown believing the media and Dem narrative on Trump.

I used to hate Trump because the media told me to. Then I realized Trump is just doing what he promised to do. And he has done so.

The economy was amazing before COVID-19 shutdowndramarama.

Democrats will raise taxes, impose more regulations, tax payer funded abortion, ALL in the name of "racial justice."

I say, get a job and then we can talk about whose ancestors are more worthy of a reparations check....oh yeah, cause this is where we are headed.

Congress will eventually fix DACA. Don't be surprised it's a Trump led effort that enshrines Everify, strong borders, and a long but eventual pathway to legalization for DACAers. I say, give renewable permits to our adult family members that knowingly crossed the border illegally.

There I said it! We as children had no choice. Our parents and other adults did have a choice. Let them deal with their own consequences.

Stop lumping DACA people with the rest of the undocumented population.

It's offensive.

I am anti-trump due to his racist and ignorant behavior but agree with a lot (not all) of what you said above.
What I agree with:
1) learn the language of the country 2) To not blame the government because our parent's didn't think ahead of time... 3) Countries have the right to protect their borders and end illegal immigration.

Bro, you are gay and illegal. Trump doesn't like you. He offers deals on DACA as a necessary evil to get the wall. Read John Bolton's book to get confirmation on how much of an egotistical moron Trump is. You complained about being treated as a pawn. Ttump is doing the same or worse because the idiot is going after DACA based on baseless claim DACA is unconstitutional. He and you have yet to identify which constitutional or INA provision DACA violates.

Also, based on the polls and at this pace, Trump is going to lose. Alot of political pundits agree on the polling numbers. Unless a miracle happens and a meteor hits, Trump is going to lose. No incumbent in history has won with these polling numbers. The 2016 election was different. Trump has fucked up pretty much everything.
